After years of fundraising, he was compelled to find a bigger way to give back to more causes. With his background in sports marketing, event planning and event management he was introduced to the world of Benefit Auctioneering where he soon after graduated from the Carolina Auction Academy.. Since graduating, he has help plan, manage and execute live auctions, fund the need and other fundraising activities for amazing causes around the country. Scott brings positivity, energy and emotion to every event he supports.
Why is Scott a Benefit Auctioneer?
In 2006, Scott was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma and since that diagnosis he has set out on a path to give back. He has personally raised nearly $1,000,000 for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society since his diagnosis as well as raised $418,000 in 10-Weeks to become the 2017 National Man of the Year for the Leukemia Lymphoma Societies Visionary of the Year campaign. He has also served on the NC, SC, VA Board of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society as well as Chaired the Visionary of the Year Leadership Team.
